Beaches in France

France is surrounded by 3 bodies of water. From the warm crystal blue water of the Mediterranean Sea, to the long, sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and the picturesque coastline of the English Channel. The beaches on Southern France are normally hotter, sandier, and more expensive. Nice is a major spot in Southern France, while St. Tropez and Cannes are more posh. The beaches along the atlantic coast are longer and less crowded then their counterparts along the French Riviera. The Atlantic also features the historic D-day beaches.
