Did you know that the tradition of hanging stockings came from here in the uk?This tradition dates back to the actual Saint Nicholas.Here in the UK children write letters to Father Christmas,instead of putting them in the mailbox they put them in the fireplace.The draught carries the letters up the chimney and Father Christmas reads the smoke.Here in the UK we believe that mistletoe brings the household good luck and keeps evil spirits away.I love Christmas!!!I really enjoyed writing to you guys!
