Food of Germany

In the North part of Germany seafood is a popular item. Some seafood dishes include chowders, salmon, and crayfish pastries. In the South wild game is more common. the people here will eat a lot of venison, boar, and quail. Some of the most popular dishes in Germany are the Schnitzel and Goulash. A Schnitzel is usually breaded veal, but we have a lot of different variations so it can always be different. Goulash is simply a stew of vegetables. We are also known for our cheeses and sausage. Here in Germany we take pride in our desserts, popular desserts are Bavarian Creme Pie and Black Forest Cake. If in a hurry the most popular food would be Doner Tasche (In the picture) which is almost the equivalent of an American sandwich.
