The Italian national soccer team is mostly known as the Azzurri because of their blue shirts. When it comes to soccer we, Italians, become very competitive. As you see in the picture, we really get into our games. Our for soccer is unlimited, it's as big as our love for food. Also a very popular sport that is growing a lot in Italy is basketball. Although it is a very new sport in Italy, we seem to be very good at it, we are the third best in the world after NBA of America and ACB of spain. A sport that is kind of rare to most countries is cycling. It comes right after basketball. It's pretty much a legend in Italy. So if you ever want to really get active and have fun come to Italy to see how good and competitive you can be.
