Popular Sports in Germany

Germany plays many of the most popular sports of the world including volleyball, basketball, field hockey, track, skiing, and soccer. My favorite is Field Hockey. In 2006 we won the World Cup and in 2007 we won the Champions Trophy. In 2008 we won gold in the Olympics. Field Hockey is like a combination of soccer and hockey. You have to use sticks to hit the ball but play on a field. You have to score in a goal but from a certain distance.
