Important Dates of Italy!$$$$

Hey it's Julie.

Italian holidays are usually done bigger and better. On May 1st, not only is it a workers holiday, but a protest day. June 2nd is the day Italy changed from being a monarchy to a republic. On the 6th of January it was a day of celebration of the birth of Jesus and still is today. April 25th is the celebration of liberation in Italy by Allied troops Second World War. This celebration is also celebrated to honor those who died in war. We celebrate these dates extraordinary. No one ever comes bored out of our festivals. They are so intresting and fun. There is a lot of food. Most of them are celebrated outside, since it is so hot it makes it even better although we do sweat a lot.
